First Impressions with elf Brow Laminating Gel // I received this from @topbox circle to review. I don't personally like the laminated brow look on myself so I didn't really have high hopes for this product. If you do like the laminated brow product, you might like this one. The gel definitely keeps brows in place, but they feel tacky and stay tacky throughout the day which I don't like. I don't like my brows feeling sticky or crunchy. Even though I wiped off excess product from the spoolie, my brows had some white residue. I even tried the brow gel another time and wiped off even more product and my brows still had some white on them. This gel comes with 3 different brushes - the spoolie that applies product, a little fine-tooth comb and then another comb with bristles. I feel like I would prefer to just have a spoolie that applies product and then another spoolie to comb out my brows instead. Since the other two brushes are flat, it just flattens my brows down (which I know is the look for brow lamination, but I prefer my brows to not be flat against my skin). So unfortunately, this product is a miss for me.

Thank you @biotherm ! I've tried this blue pro-retinol multi-correct cream and I enjoyed it. It has a pleasant, sort of aquatic scent to it that doesn't linger. I've never tried a gua sha before, but I'm interested in seeing how well it works. Although I'm not sure if I'll remember to use it regularly. If I do end up using it often, I will give an update in a couple months.

First Impressions // I was sent the Kiehls Beyond Screen UV Serum SPF 50 to try and here are my thoughts. I've tried it a few times now and I like it. It comes in a glass bottle with a pump. There's no whitecast and it doesn't feel heavy at all. It has the smell of a sunscreen, but that's fine. I'd rather it smell like sunscreen than something else. It wears well under my makeup too. I didn't notice any pilling when I used it. At $57 CAD for 50mL, it is quite pricey and I'm not 100% sure I would purchase it myself.

#1empty1newbie I really liked the @biotherm blue pro-retinol multi-correct cream. I don't have much to say about whether it works on wrinkles or not since I don't have any, but my face has been relatively clear while I used this cream. It took about 5-6 months to use up. It had a pleasant scent (it was kind of aquatic). The cera repair barrier cream smells similar, but a little lighter.

Thank you @thisisbutterly for sending this blush. This @armanibeauty luminous silk cheek tint in 50.5 is beautiful. When I first swatched it, I thought it might be too light compared to the coral/pink shades I usually like. But it's so pretty for a natural blush for my skin tone. Liquid blushes last a long time since you just need a small amount, but I'm not 100% sure I would purchase this with my own money. Maybe after I use it more, I'll change my mind. I tried it out yesterday. It was warm out yesterday, and I had done some walking. By the 6th hour of wearing makeup, my foundation and mascara had melted/creased/smudged, but the blush was still there.

Disclaimer: I was sent this for review. I've also enhanced the picture's colours a bit, so the shade is slightly different than pictured.

First impressions of the Lancôme Rénergie H.C.F. Triple Serum Eye // I received this complimentary from @thisisbutterly to try. I've been using it for about a week now and while this is a nice eye cream, I can't justify the price of it ($120 CAD for 20mL). It has a pleasant scent that doesn't linger. You have to do a full pump of it to make sure all 3 of the actives are dispensed to become the serum. It's often too much product for my under eyes and eyelids. What's left on my hand could be enough for another usage. It does also leave some tackiness under the eyes. I haven't tried it under makeup, but I'm wondering how well it would work.

Thanks to @thisisbutterly for sending this to me. It's the @armanibeauty Prisma Glass Hydrating Lip Gloss in Clear Shine. As always, the packaging is beautiful. The gloss is pretty and has a bit of tackiness, but not as sticky as some lip glosses I've tried. I would compare it to the Clarins lip oils in terms of the slight tackiness. Personally, I wouldn't purchase the clear shade of the gloss since it's $52 CAD. If I were to repurchase this product, I would consider one of the tinted ones instead.
